General description of the service

With this service, our team of professionals supports clients in applying and complying with current accounting and tax regulations, from basic matters to complex situations. Our services cover a broad range of activities designed to help enterprises address accounting and tax-related matters. These services include:

  • Basic Tax Advisory: Support clients in handling fundamental tax matters such as tax registration, electronic invoicing, working with suppliers on tax documentation, and advisory on compliance with tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), import and export taxes, as well as customs and transfer pricing matters.
  • Advanced Tax Advisory: Help clients manage tax risks and capture available tax benefits in complex transactions such as M&A, corporate restructuring, bond and share issuances, tax refund applications, tax planning and the development of appropriate tax strategies.
  • Tax Audit Support: Provide support in responding to and resolving requests and enquiries from the tax authorities during tax audits. We advise on appropriate response approaches and assist in drafting explanation letters to protect clients’ legitimate interests.

The deliverables of this service may include financial statements, tax returns, tax risk assessment reports, tax explanation letters, tax cost optimisation strategies, detailed guidance on accounting and tax processes, and other tailored solutions.

Service Usage Context

  • Newly Established Enterprises: Require advisory on tax registration, electronic invoicing and initial tax obligations to ensure compliance and minimise risks from the commencement of operations.
  • Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs): Require support in resolving tax issues, keeping up to date with regulatory changes and managing tax risks to ensure compliance and legally optimise tax costs.
  • Large Enterprises and Multinational Groups: May engage in complex transactions, restructuring or cross-border activities and therefore require specialised advisory to develop appropriate tax strategies and minimise risks.
  • Enterprises with Specific Needs: Preparing for tax audits, tax refunds, M&A transactions or securities issuances and requiring advisory to address arising tax matters and protect their legitimate interests.

Frequently asked questions

1. Are enterprise information and data kept confidential when using tax services?
We are committed to maintaining the absolute confidentiality of all client information under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and apply advanced data security measures to ensure information is protected.
2. Can enterprises receive tax advice on an ad hoc basis, or is a long-term contract required?

We provide both ad hoc tax advisory services and long-term service arrangements, depending on the enterprise’s needs. Under a long-term engagement, enterprises can receive timely support and continuous updates on changes in tax policies and regulations.

3. Do small enterprises need to engage tax services?
Yes. Regardless of size, accounting or tax errors may still result in penalties or create difficulties when the enterprise expands its operations. Using professional tax services helps enterprises ensure regulatory compliance, minimise errors and legal risks, reduce personnel costs, and focus resources on core business activities.
4. Can an enterprise change its outsourced tax service provider?
Yes. Enterprises may change their outsourced tax service provider if the current service no longer meets their requirements. We support data migration, document handover and onboarding to help ensure a smooth transition.
