Crowe UK has announced the appointment of Mitesh Patelia as its new Chief Executive, succeeding Nigel Bostock, who will step down on 30 June 2026 after almost nine years in the role.
Mitesh takes up the role on 1 July 2026 after serving 18 years at Crowe. He joined in 2008 and became a Corporate Finance partner in 2017. More recently, Mitesh was appointed as Head of Advisory and has served as Chair of the Supervisory Board.
Mitesh Patelia comments: “I am honoured to have been appointed to lead the firm. I have seen Crowe grow and evolve immeasurably over the years. That progress is a direct result of the talent, dedication and commitment of our people and the exceptional teams we have. I look forward to working with each of them as we continue to build on our firm’s success.
“I would like to thank Nigel for his steadfast leadership during a period of considerable change in the profession. Throughout his tenure, Nigel has balanced sustainable growth with a strong focus on clients, people and quality, and navigated us safely through the pandemic’s challenging times. We thank Nigel for his leadership and commitment, which have helped position the firm well for the future.”
Nigel Bostock comments: “I have been very fortunate and appreciative to have had the opportunity to lead this firm. The talent at Crowe has always been and will continue to be exceptional. We have a culture where values are truly lived and where our people, clients and the firm are given opportunities to thrive. I thank all our partners and people, present and past for their hard work, contribution, support and dedication; it is something I will always cherish and value. Our firm is well-positioned for the future, and I am truly delighted to welcome and commit my support to Mitesh as our new Chief Executive to lead us forward and build on the strong market presence Crowe has today.”
Nigel will continue as a partner with the firm, working alongside and supporting Mitesh to ensure a smooth transition.
Earlier this year, Crowe announced two partner hires – the appointment of Mark Dyer to the firm’s well-established national VAT, Customs and International Trade practice, and Bhavin Bharakda to its Consulting practice. These were more recently followed by two partner promotions in April 2026 – Ben Carter in the firm’s Professional Practices team and Charlie Copp in its Corporate Finance team.
