The decision to re-engage Crowe UK was primarily down to the value-add experienced by our regulated businesses, and previous successful engagements where Crowe UK helped develop our wider risk framework.

Crowe UK supported me by organising a series of briefing papers and coaching sessions to ensure I was well prepared for my regulatory interview. 

I appreciated the practical experience of their Partner who had previously held this role and undergone similar regulatory scrutiny.

Crowe UK was able to deploy innovative data analytics techniques to help test the risk of mis-statement of our disclosures, focusing on the matching of insured entities to ESG data sets and industry sector codes.

I appreciated Crowe UK’s extensive engagement with my peers in the Executive Committee, to ensure that their views and expectations were considered their advice on the structure and resource requirements for the Risk Function.

High quality, experienced project management was a key factor in the successful completion of the exercise. They showed great flexibility and tenacity in resolving issues that arose such as resource conflicts and lack of clarity re task ownership.

This exercise was extremely valuable in providing the group management committee with the confidence to progress this new climate strategy.
