Crowe has successfully advised the shareholder of Solution 7 Limited (Solution 7) on their sale to Zone & Co, a US-based provider of ERP-native software solutions.
Solution 7, founded by Simon Miles, developed an award-winning financial planning and analysis (FP&A) reporting solution allowing high-quality, real-time management reports, forecasts and financial statements, from live ERP data in Microsoft Excel. The business has successfully continued to grow with customers across the globe.
Zone & Co, headquartered in the US and backed by Insight Partners, operates a versatile platform with ERP capabilities with over 3,000 customers worldwide and hubs in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.

Crowe provided integrated corporate finance and M&A tax services to the shareholders.
Led by Mark Allen and supported by William Thompson, our Lead Advisory team supported the seller with timely, pragmatic advice and provided the interface between the commercial terms and the legal negotiations.
M&A tax advice was provided by Mark Stemp. Mark advised the seller on his personal tax position and the wider implications of the cross-border deal structure.
