Crowe advised Tower Transit Limited (Tower Transit) on the acquisition of Huyton Travel Limited (HTL), an independent bus operator, with over 30 buses, that has been a cornerstone of public transport in the Liverpool City region for over 40 years.
Tower Transit is a UK subsidiary of the Kelsian Group, which is listed on the ASX, a transport provider and tourism operator with established bus operations in the UK, Australia, the USA and Singapore.
The acquisition strengthens Kelsian Group’s position as a leading essential transport operator, now with a significant foothold in Liverpool, ahead of the rollout of franchising in the region, and reinforces its strategic growth ambitions and vision for successful expansion into markets with organic growth opportunity.
