CoreLogic UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of CoreLogic, a leading global property information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions provider, has expanded its retrofit and eco credentials with the acquisition of Parity Projects.
Founded in 2005 by Russell Smith, Parity Projects uses data science, software and analysis to help clients deliver energy efficiency in homes, working with local authorities and landlords of all sizes to develop cost-effective retrofit programmes - reducing carbon emissions and fuel bills, delivering more comfortable homes, and delivering against the Net Zero agenda. The sale to CoreLogic is an extension of a successful strategic partnership and will allow both parties to further develop new products and services for customers and stakeholders in the retrofit space.
Crowe acted as lead adviser to the shareholders of Parity. The Crowe team was led by Matteo Timpani with support from Hazel Lucian.
“My fellow Directors and I were approached by a range of investors way ahead of any thoughts we had of selling the company. None of us had been involved in any kind of transaction like this before and we recognised the need for external advice given our lack of experience and preparedness. Matteo and Hazel were there every step of the way to support us with commercial advice, market views, accounting services and critically, extensive previous experience. Ours was a long deal process but Crowe remained patient and organised at all times. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others."
