Crowe UK advised the shareholders of Ashley Medical Communications (“AMC”), a leading medical education and communications agency, on investment from Hypha Partners LLP (“Hypha”) to support the management buyout of the business.
Established by Chrissie Ashley in 1996, AMC delivers communication services to clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices sectors. The business has grown organically, having focused on areas of pharma experiencing major investment and development, including oncology and neuroscience.
Under the leadership of CEO Cath Lavery, AMC has earned a reputation for excellence and adaptability in meeting the needs of its clients, with revenue growth of over 50% since 2023.
Hypha is a UK-based private equity firm focused on investing in founder-owned businesses in the healthcare, technology and advanced manufacturing sectors in the UK and Ireland. The transaction represents Hypha’s first investment since closing its maiden fund in 2024.
