Crowe has promoted George Lawford and Kyle Patel to Partner in its Corporate Finance and Global Business Solutions teams respectively, effective 1 October 2026.
The promotions reflect the firm’s continued investment in its people, the depth and breadth of expertise across the business, and its commitment to enhancing the services it provides to clients.
George joined Crowe in 2013 and has more than 13 years' experience in M&A and capital markets advisory, with deep expertise in financial due diligence and cross-border acquisitions.
He advises corporates, including owner-managed businesses and listed entities in the UK and overseas, on acquisitions and raising capital through debt or equity funding. He has significant capital markets experience across the London Stock Exchange and international markets.
On his promotion, George Lawford, said:

Kyle joined Crowe in 2013 and has more than 17 years' experience in the accounting profession. He specialises in international outsourcing and supporting organisations expanding into and operating in new markets. This includes advising on establishing the right operating structures and providing ongoing support across outsourced accounting, payroll, tax, compliance, treasury and HR services.
Kyle advises businesses across a wide range of industries, with particular expertise in supporting high-growth technology companies. With a client portfolio predominantly comprising US-headquartered technology businesses, he regularly leads cross-border projects focused on streamlining processes, strengthening governance and building the financial infrastructure needed to support sustainable growth.

The promotions follow the appointment of Mitesh Patelia as Crowe UK’s Chief Executive, alongside a series of partner hires this year: Adam Rollason in the firm’s Corporate Tax team, Mark Dyer in its VAT, Customs and International Trade practice and Bhavin Bharakda in its Consulting practice. The firm also made two internal Partner promotions – Ben Carter in its Professional Practices team and Charlie Copp in its Corporate Finance team.
