Social Mobility

We believe talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't always equal. We're dedicated to creating a fairer future where career progression is based on ability, not background. 

Someone’s future should be determined by their talent and determination, not their socio-economic background and at Crowe, as part of our social value programme, we are committed to developing a workplace where everyone can progress their career.

Research reflects that people from a low socio-economic background are disadvantaged comparatively to those from a high socio-economic background when it comes to their careers, including work experience and internship opportunities, fair pay, and accessing higher professional occupation roles.



At Crowe, our work in this area is driven through four strands:

Where you start in life should have no bearing on where you end up. Social class continues to be a huge barrier to entry and progression within the workplace and we need to ensure that no one is overlooked because of it.

Having grown up in a social mobility cold spot, I’m acutely aware of some of the factors that are holding back talented individuals and I’m excited to be involved in Crowe’s programme to address social mobility so that talent can prosper, whatever your background.
