Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme

We have the expertise and experience to help you lay down your roots in Malaysia.

Strategically manage your international workforce

The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme is a long-term visa initiative that allows foreigners to live, invest, and enjoy retirement in Malaysia. After a suspension in July 2020, the program resumed in October 2021 with stricter financial requirements, including:

  • Minimum monthly income of RM40,000 (up from RM10,000)
  • Fixed deposit of RM1,000,000 in a Malaysian bank (with RM500,000 withdrawable after 1 year for approved expenses)

Despite the tighter rules, MM2H remains an attractive option for expatriates, retirees and frequent travelers who wish to settle long-term in Malaysia. The program offers:

  • Multiple-entry visa with renewable 5- to 20-year stays
  • Tax benefits and no restrictions on property purchases
  • Access to Malaysia’s healthcare, education, and business opportunities

Since the program’s reopening, application numbers have dropped—likely due to higher financial thresholds and pandemic effects. However, with Malaysia’s borders fully open since April 2022, now could be the best time to apply, as approval chances may be higher with fewer applicants.

Our services include

We provide end-to-end MM2H application assistance, ensuring a smooth and successful process:
