Wai Ling Mok

Mok Wai Ling is a member of the managing board of partners of Crowe Malaysia.
Wai Ling obtained her accountancy training and professional qualification through an articleship with an international accounting firm from 1976 to 1981. During her tenure there, her work experience included the audits of multinationals and listed companies. Having obtained her professional qualification and membership with the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, she then joined an accounting firm where she headed the tax department and was the named Company Secretary to 800 companies.
Wai Ling has a heart for the underprivileged community and plays a pivotal role in the firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. She strongly believes that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty; hence, many of the community projects she champions focus on creating education opportunities to those in need.

Community Involvement
- Cofounder of Project CHange, a scholarship program that finances underprivileged students to obtain their university degrees.
- Works with the IDEAS Academy, a secondary learning centre for underprivileged children, including those who are refugees, stateless and undocumented.
- Works with Picha Eats – a social enterprise that helps to rebuild the lives of refugees in Malaysia through a food catering business – to empower the marginalized communities.
