Yuen Lok graduated with a B Sc in Brewing Science from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, UK, and went through articleship at EY Malaysia to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1989.
His professional highlights are centered around large Corporate Finance and Insolvency engagements, having overseen several IPOs, as well as the special administration of delinquent assets that included a highway, hotel, factory and a government linked agency valued at over $1b.
Yuen Lok co-founded the Malaysian firm (in 1990) that has been a member of Crowe Global since 1995. As the CEO of Crowe Malaysia, he became a board member of the network from 2002-2006.
In 2007, after having built the Malaysian firm to become the 5th largest firm in the country, he assumed the role of Regional Executive Director of Crowe Global for Asia Pacific and became a member of the network’s Management Committee. Prior to that, he was also a Board Member of Crowe Global and served as an Independent Director in 3 public companies.
