Experience

  • I have more than thirteen (13) years of experience in managing payroll processing. This includes three (3) years of in-house payroll experience in Retail, Oil and Gas industry and more than ten (10) years in payroll outsourcing services. My expertise is not limited to Malaysia, as I have previously managed global payroll for Australia and Brunei.
  • Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the local labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, which has enabled me to effectively manage payrolls of varying sizes, the largest being around 2,000 employees for both local and expatriate staff.
  • I have played a pivotal role in implementing and upgrading payroll systems, streamlining processes, and improving operational efficiencies. My proficiency in payroll software, coupled with my strong analytical skills, has consistently ensured accuracy and compliance in all transactions.
  • In summary, my extensive experience in payroll management for Malaysia positions me well to handle complex and large-scale payroll operations, drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead teams towards achieving operational excellence.
  • With my comprehensive experience in payroll, I have been deeply engaged in conducting thorough due diligence processes for payroll and social securities within Malaysia. This engagement has ensured adherence to compliance requirements, thereby mitigating potential risks and liabilities.
  • Furthermore, I have established strong relationships with the statutory bodies such as the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (MIRB), Employees Provident Fund (EPF), and Social Security Organization (SOCSO). These relationships have proven to be invaluable in assisting clients to navigate and comply with statutory requirements, thereby ensuring seamless business operations.
