National audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, Crowe, has taken home the EMEA Tax Provider of the Year award at the Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards (EMMAs).

Crowe was presented with the award – which recognises best-in-class tax service provision across regions or locations – at last night’s ceremony, held at London’s Intercontinental at The O2.

The award comes off the back of a period of rapid growth for the Crowe Global Mobility Services (GMS) team, which has more than doubled in size in the past 18 months, and plays a vital role in supporting thousands of international employees, globally.

This year, the team launched its ‘Mobility Mondays’ campaign, aimed at bringing additional simplicity to mobility taxation to ensure it is accessible for non-tax experts. Tackling the key topics keeping employers busy, and reaching between 3,000 and 7,000 professionals each week, the campaign has been praised for its ability to cut through complex issues and present them to time-poor professionals in an easy-to-understand format.

Earlier this year, Crowe’s Employment Advisory Group also won the Global Payroll Awards Employment Tax Team of the Year 2019. The EMMA also comes hot on the heels of Crowe winning best Human Capital/Employment Tax Practice at the Tolley’s Taxation Awards last year.

We are delighted to be have been recognised as Tax Provider of the Year at this year’s EMMAs. This is testament to the quality work, the passion of our teams in the UK and across Crowe Global and the client service that the teams provide on a consistent basis.

It is particularly pleasing to receive this recognition and be celebrated for providing our clients with  global reach on a personal scale. With new business models and ways of working creating additional complexity, it is important now more than ever to have sound planning and management strategies to deal with changing employee roles and risks.
