The UK's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (UK CBAM) comes into effect on 1 January 2027 and will create new compliance obligations for many importers of carbon-intensive goods.
From that date, businesses will need to identify in-scope imports, calculate UK CBAM liabilities and maintain the records required to support future UK CBAM returns. For many organisations, this means acting now to understand exposure, engage with suppliers, review customs data and establish the processes needed to collect and retain the required information.
This webinar will provide a practical update on the latest developments, what businesses know today, and the key steps organisations should be taking to prepare.
