Charities SORP 2026 training: Part two

The anticipated Charities SORP 2026 was released on 31 October 2025, effective from 1 January 2026.

Building on the foundations covered in our previous Charities SORP 2026 training, this session will take a more practical, example-led approach to help you understand how these changes apply in practice and how to implement them effectively within your organisation. As part of our Better series, we've put together a comprehensive guide to lease accounting, which is available to download now. We'd recommend you review this prior to attending.

What we will cover

We'll cover developments in accounting and reporting for charities resulting from the changes to Charities SORP and FRS 102, including new requirements for the Trustees' Report as a result of the new tiering.

We will conclude with time for Q&As so you can ask questions to our specialists.

Trustees or those working in finance-related roles in the charity sector who need to understand the impact of the changes in the Charities SORP.
