Julia Poulter

Partner, Head of Social Housing
London

I joined Crowe in January 2020 as a specialist non profits partner. I have over 15 years of experience working with charities and social housing providers providing both assurance and advisory services. Advisory projects include technical accounting advice, reserves policy reviews, governance reviews and due diligence. I have a keen interest in technical matters and training in the sector and regularly train staff and clients on key sector matters, including accounting, governance and audit committee responsibilities. I regularly present at CFG and Civil Society training events.

I am passionate about the work of the voluntary sector and I am chair of a local homelessness charity. I am also a registered speaker for schools, regularly speaking to young people about routes into accountancy, apprenticeships and interview skills.
