Our FraudCast series takes a look at the latest fraud and cybercrime news and trends from across the industry with our Partner and National Head of Forensic Services, Jim Gee.

Each FraudCast will include some commentary on the latest fraud and cybercrime news, an interview with a leading forensics specialist and a discussion about a controversial subject.

In this second episode, of our new monthly FraudCast series, Jim Gee discusses the current spike in fraud across the UK, including the recent cyber-attacks affecting Universities and the newly highlighted Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) fraud cases.

For this month’s specialist interview, Jim is joined by Rodger Cook, Regional Security Director at World Travel Protection, and previously a senior security manager at gold mines in Zambia, Indonesia and Madagascar. Mines are always in remote places and they are some of the most difficult contexts in which to counter fraud, bribery and corruption. They discuss their work in protecting the Mining Industry from ongoing fraud and security risks.
