Corporate Finance

Crowe’s Corporate Finance team has been bolstered with the arrival of two new partners as Dan Nixon and Andy Coghlan join the firm with a combined 40 years of advisory experience. Both join from Azets.

The pair arrive with a rich history of corporate finance experience working with private equity, debt funds and banks to provide buy-side advice and due diligence, as well as assisting clients with selling their business and sell-side due diligence services. Both have deep expertise in raising private equity funding and advising private equity on transactions.

Dan NixonDan Nixon commented:

"I am very pleased to be joining the Corporate Finance team at Crowe. I look forward to bringing my expertise to this experienced team and working with my colleagues to provide specialist advice across a range of due diligence and transaction issues. Notable headwinds provided by the cost of living crisis and declining consumer spending must be navigated, but we see a lot of capital out there, particularly on the private equity side, which needs a home. I look forward to helping investors and sellers alike find transactional solutions that work for their businesses.”

"I am impressed by the Crowe team’s collaborative and enthusiastic approach to work, which is a joy to be part of. Dan and I have a proven track record of delivering for clients and are pleased to be hitting the ground running in terms of driving dealmaking activity. Despite the economic backdrop, we see plenty of opportunities, particularly in the technology, business services and healthcare sectors.”

Private Client

Jennifer McNally also joins Crowe as a partner in the National Private Clients team.

Jennifer joins from Blick Rothenberg and has previously spent time working at Big Four accountancy firms, amassing more than 18 years’ experience advising individuals and their families on UK residence, domicile and remittance issues, and the appropriate structures to hold family wealth both onshore and offshore.

At Crowe, Jennifer will provide expertise working with international multi-generational families, developing deep relationships to provide effective solutions both commercially and practically.

Jennifer McNallyJennifer McNally commented:

"I am thrilled to be joining Crowe and working with such a dedicated group of people. The award-winning Private Clients team at Crowe takes a devoted approach, which focuses on collaboration with clients – one of the main factors that attracted me to the firm.”

All three new partners arrive at a time of significant growth for Crowe. The firm delivered revenues in the year to 31 March 2022 of more than £125 million and has expanded its client offering with new strategic consultancy lines.

Nigel Bostock, Chief Executive of Crowe, commented:

"Dan, Andy and Jennifer are all excellent additions to their respective teams and reflect Crowe’s dedication to recruiting top talent.

"Jennifer is the perfect fit to further build out our Private Clients team. We are looking forward to seeing her depth of experience working across the Private Client sphere in action and know that she will be an ideal complement to what is already recognised as a market-leading team.

"It gives me great pleasure to welcome Dan and Andy to the firm in our Corporate Finance team. They join with strong reputations – both individually and working in concert together – for delivering results and it is pleasing to welcome such experienced professionals to our team at Crowe. I am confident that their dedication and tenacity will take the team to new heights.”
