The increasing digitalization of logistics operations, along with regulatory and legal requirements, demands a structured approach to Information Security Management.
It is essential to implement a strategy to protect infrastructures, operational data, and critical supply chains.
The TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association) Cybersecurity Security Standard (CSS) is a cybersecurity framework for the transport sector, based on international best practices and standards. It incorporates essential requirements that align with regulatory and legal obligations, such as Law 125/2025 (commonly known as the NIS2 Directive).
By establishing a robust model to prevent disruptions, mitigate threats, and strengthen operational resilience, this framework - when consolidated with current regulatory and legal requirements - aims to ensure safer operations, minimize vulnerabilities, guarantee business continuity in a sector increasingly exposed to sophisticated cyber risks, and support the legal compliance of organizations in this field.
