Crowe Oman was pleased to host a successful seminar on e-Invoicing in Oman in Muscat, bringing together more than 200 professionals from a wide range of industries to discuss Oman's evolving digital tax landscape and the future of electronic invoicing. The event served as an important platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and practical discussions on the country's transition towards a modern digital tax ecosystem.

Insights from the Oman Tax Authority

We were honoured to welcome Mr. Idrees Al-Rashdi, e-Invoicing Project Manager at the Oman Tax Authority (OTA), who shared the Authority's vision, strategic roadmap, and implementation plans for e-Invoicing in Oman. His presentation provided attendees with valuable insights into the regulatory framework and the steps organizations should begin taking to prepare for compliance.

Practical Experience and Technical Expertise

The seminar also featured valuable industry perspectives from Mr. Amitava Saha of Al-Futtaim Group, UAE, who shared practical experiences from regional e-Invoicing implementations and highlighted lessons learned from successful digital transformation projects.

Technical sessions were delivered by Antony Kallukaran and Aastha Rangan from Crowe Oman, along with Mr. Abdullah Javaid from Skill Quotient. The presentations covered key aspects of the proposed framework, regulatory compliance requirements, ERP readiness, technology integration, and implementation considerations to help businesses prepare for the transition.
