Aastha Rangan

Director – VAT Advisory

Aastha is a Chartered Accountant with over 11 years of experience in audit, finance, and accounting. She has led audit assignments across sectors like trading, hotels, mining, manufacturing, and government. She currently leads VAT practice development in her region and conducts training to promote VAT awareness. Aastha is the Past Chairperson of the Muscat Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Her clients include financial services, oil & gas, automotive, and construction. She holds a Chartered Accountancy certificate from ICAI, a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, and a Bachelor's in Commerce from Kanpur University.

Ramya Annadurai

A post graduate in commerce and a qualified chartered accountant with a post qualification experience of around 14 years in accounting and tax practice.She is an expert in Oman tax law and international taxation. She also has a good knowledge of the legal, statutory and business environment of Oman.

Taysir Nasib AL Rawahi

Director - Tax Compliance

Taysir has over 20 years of experience in audit, tax, and finance. As former In-charge Director of Tax Compliance at Oman’s Tax Authorities, he helped shape Income Tax, Excise, and VAT laws, and led VAT system implementation. At Crowe, he advises on VAT, Withholding Tax, and excise duties, and conducts training on tax regulations. His clients span trading, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, and oil & gas sectors.

Salman Yaqub Sheikh

With over 22 years of experience in audit, accounting, finance, and company secretarial practices for listed entities, he has held senior roles in textiles, infrastructure, and real estate. He served as Senior Manager at Crowe Pakistan and Crowe Oman, leading quality management. His expertise includes USAID-funded procurement audits, system design, software consulting, and quality systems implementation. He has also delivered training and capacity-building in audits, procurement, and organizational development.

Jais Jacob

Associate Director - Audit & Assurance

Jais brings 19 years of auditing experience, including 15 post-qualification, with a strong track record across diverse industries. Over his 13-year tenure at Crowe Oman, he has advanced from senior auditor to managerial roles and now serves as Associate Director, Audit and Assurance. Jais is proficient in IFRS, IAS, ISA, corporate governance, and Omani laws, and has contributed to due diligence audits, feasibility studies, fraud investigations, and business valuations. He has led audits for various entities, including SAOGs, SAOCs, LLCs, branches, and proprietorships, managing the entire audit lifecycle.

Yasser EI Gbaily

Director – Audit & Assurance

Yasser is a Certified Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Egyptian Society of Auditors & Accountants (ESAA), bringing over 20 years of experience in audit, finance, and accounting. He has held managerial roles at one of the Big Four audit firms in Cairo as well as at Crowe Oman, before moving on to serve in a leadership position at an Investment and Asset Management Company. For the past 10 years, Yasser headed the Finance & Accounts team at the company, gaining extensive and diversified expertise across audit, corporate finance, and government compliance.

Paul Kallukaran

Director - Technology

Paul is a qualified mechanical engineer and accountant with over a decade of experience in engineering, audit, and advisory roles. With a background in production and maintenance across plastics, energy, and automotive sectors, he has spent the past 7+ years at Crowe, delivering audits and advising clients in telecommunications, banking, and utilities. His strengths include process improvement, KPI design, cost-benefit analysis, and ISO audits. Paul’s interdisciplinary skill set bridges technical and financial perspectives, offering solutions in compliance, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and sustainability reporting.
