Founding and Managing Partner
Davis Kallukaran is the Founding and Managing Partner of Crowe Mak Ghazali, Chartered Accountants, Muscat — one of the top ten audit firms in the Sultanate of Oman. He has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, management, and IT consultancy. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he was co-opted to the International Affairs Committee of the ICAI Council, New Delhi (2007–08), and served as the Founding Chairman of the Muscat Chapter of the Institute (2008–09). He is also a Certified Member of the Institute of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Davis is a regular columnist for the Times of Oman on tax-related matters and has co-authored a book on the taxation of Non-Resident Indians. He has represented the firm at numerous international conferences on accounting, auditing, risk advisory services, and corporate finance. In recognition of his outstanding global contributions, he was honored with the Pinnacle Award — the highest recognition from Crowe Horwath, a top-ten global accounting network.
Partner – Audit & Assurance Services
Tom has extensive experience in external audits, internal audits, due diligence, management audits, and operational reviews. His expertise spans various industries and business environments, ensuring a thorough and risk-focused audit approach.
As the engagement partner for the firm's audit clients, Tom is actively involved at every stage of the audit process. His participation includes audit planning, execution and quality control, detailed assignment review, and final discussions with client management.
Partner – Audit, Assurance & ESG Services
Karl is a UK Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of international experience across banking and commercial sectors. He brings a balanced perspective, having worked both within corporate finance functions and in the auditing, accounting, and consulting professions. His key areas of expertise include treasury, accounting, and risk management.
He previously worked with two Big Four firms and an international bank. Karl is also a recognized expert in IFRS implementation.
Partner – Corporate Finance & Assurance
Jim has over 15 years of experience in audit, assurance, and M&A advisory services. He has worked extensively in the UAE and Oman for more than 13 years. A Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and certified in Business Valuation by ACCA, Jim brings deep expertise in external and internal audits, having led teams across various assignments, including for listed companies.
His core competencies include due diligence, holding company structuring, and M&A advisory. Jim is also an active member of Crowe’s Global Corporate Advisory team.
Associate Partner – Compliance & Audit
Huda Al Maamari is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with over 20 years of experience in auditing, governance, and regulatory oversight. She is a recognized expert in corporate governance, commercial companies law, and Oman’s capital market regulations. Huda has led key regulatory functions, including planning and supervising annual inspections of SAOGs, and engaging with boards to enhance governance standards.
Prior to joining Crowe, she served as a Director at Oman’s Capital Market Authority. Her expertise also includes delivering high-impact training and workshops on internal control and governance. As Associate Partner in Audit and Assurance, Huda brings deep regulatory insight and leadership to Crowe’s compliance and assurance practice.
Partner – Business Advisory
A Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a BBA graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma (USA), he brings international perspective and expertise to his role. He currently represents the Middle East region on the Crowe Global Marketing Strategy Committee and the EMEA Brand Committee.
He leads the Hotel, Tourism & Leisure services in Oman, covering all aspects of hotel real estate, tourism, and leisure development. Known for delivering objective and strategic advice, he has built a strong reputation for providing insights that help clients navigate complex investment decisions and achieve long-term success.
Partner – Tax Advisory
Antony is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), with over 12 years of experience in Tax, Assurance, and Advisory services, including more than 3 years with a Big 4 firm. He has also gained extensive exposure to Risk-Based Internal Audit, IFRS Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, Business Valuations, and Financial Feasibility Studies.
Associate Partner – Hotel, Tourism & Leisure Advisory
Michael Kuhn has over 20 years of international hospitality experience with a strong background in strategic planning, business opportunity analysis, and cost control. He has worked across diverse markets and is known for identifying revenue streams and building strong client relationships. Michael is also experienced in hotel real estate and tourism development consulting.
He is the Associate Partner heading Horwath HTL’s Oman office. He holds an MBA, is a certified Hotelier by the German Chamber of Industry & Commerce, and is a graduate of the German Military Academy with the rank of Lieutenant.
Gibu is an astute professional with over 15 years of experience across auditing, accounting, finance, operations control, and business negotiations. He has served in various leadership roles including Auditor, Internal Auditor, Head of Finance, General Manager, Director in an SAOC company, and Advisor to promoters and investors.
Gibu has experience in various industries like Manufacturing, Educational, Logistics, Trading and Real Estate Business.
