David leads a global quality assurance programme for member firms, in their delivery of audit services. David was previously a partner in Crowe Global’s United Kingdom member firm, leading the audits of listed companies and large international privately owned businesses. David is a member of ICAEW, and has been a member of ICAEW’s Council, Audit Committee and Independent Regulatory Board. He has represented the UK profession as a member of the IFAC Small & Medium Practices Committee and IFAC Transnational Auditors’ Committee. David is a member of the Courts of Assistants (governing bodies) of the Worshipful Companies of Horners and Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
IFRS subject matter expert at Crowe Oman. He has personally completed over 100 implementation assignments on IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and other Standards for
clients from varied industry. Also, with a wide experience in IFRS and US GAAP implementation and training.
Karl Jackson - Associate Partner – Audit and Assurance at Crowe Oman
UK Chartered Accountant with +30 years of international experience spread across banking and commercial entities. He has a good balance, having worked for finance and internal audit functions inside corporations and for the auditing, accounting and consulting professions. His focus is Treasury, Accounting and Risk Management. Previous Karl worked with two big four firms and a major international bank. Notably Karl is an expert in Internal Auditing and Enterprise Risk Management.
