When does Crowe MacKay start recruiting?

Crowe MacKay typically starts their recruitment process a year in advance, which means our vacancies will begin to be posted in September and up to the first week of October.

Do I need practical experience in my field of study to be hired?

Practical experience is great but NOT required. We are proud to be a teaching firm, meaning our team is ready to mentor and give you hands-on learning experiences so you can learn more about creating a career in accounting.

Where does Crowe MacKay hire in Canada?

We hire in all our locations, including Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, the Sunshine Coast, Surrey, Vancouver, Whitehorse, and Yellowknife. If you’re not located in one of these cities we also offer remote working capabilities. Contact us for more information.

What are the typical assignments for students?

As a student, you are an integral part of the Crowe MacKay team. You will develop competencies as you collaborate with professionals, supporting our business units by working on a variety of tasks including:

  • Preparing financial statements and supporting documents
  • Completing corporate and personal tax returns
  • Assisting with compilation, review engagements, and audits
  • Coordinating client bookkeeping
