- UAE issues new types of visa:
- Multiple Entry Tourist Visa
- Second generation of Emirates ID card was launched
- UAE grants citizenship to investors, professionals, special talents, and their families to acquire Emirati nationality and passport on completion of certain conditions

- Deadline to register Beneficial Owner data was extended until 30 June 2021. Any non-compliance could invite fines as per the concerned regulations**.
- The procedural aspects allowing foreign investors and entrepreneurs to established and fully own onshore companies come into effect on 01 June 2021.
- Amendments* to then existing Commercial Company Law, 2015 came to force on 02 January 2021
