Ahsan Tariq is Manager – Indirect Taxation (VAT & Excise) at Crowe UAE, bringing over 13 years of progressive experience across accounting, auditing, and tax consulting, with a strong specialization in UAE VAT and Excise Tax.

Ahsan’s professional background includes Big 4 experience, where he developed a strong technical foundation and gained exposure to complex, large-scale advisory assignments. He further brings valuable practical insight through his work with Dubai Customs and Abu Dhabi Customs-related matters, as well as extensive experience advising government and semi-government entities, enabling him to navigate regulatory environments with a high degree of confidence and precision.

Throughout his career, Ahsan has advised clients on a wide spectrum of indirect tax matters, including VAT and Excise compliance, health checks, impact assessments, and complex regulatory issues. His sector experience spans real estate, hospitality, entertainment, manufacturing, trading, logistics, technology, healthcare, banking, insurance, education, free zones, designated zones, and government entities. He has also contributed to several high-profile assignments, including multiple pavilions at EXPO 2020 Dubai, demonstrating his ability to operate effectively in demanding and high-visibility environments.
