Afzal Khattak

Afzal Khattak brings over 9 years of experience in external audit and assurance, with a strong focus on the financial services sector. He began his career with one of Pakistan’s top-tier firms, where he developed a solid foundation in auditing complex entities across multiple industries.

Currently serving as a Manager at Crowe, Afzal leads audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. He provides strategic oversight, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. He also plays a key role in engagement management, overseeing large and complex assignments while maintaining strong coordination with stakeholders.

Afzal has extensive cross-border professional experience, having worked across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Pakistan, the United Kingdom (London), and the United Arab Emirates. His international exposure enables him to deliver high-quality, globally aligned assurance services.

He regularly engages with regulatory bodies to ensure audit deliverables align with applicable legal and compliance frameworks.

Afzal is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He also holds a Certification in Accounting and Finance (CAF) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), along with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
