Crowe promotes risk, resilience and ESG specialist to partner

Justin Elks promoted to partner in the firm’s Risk Consulting practice.

Justin Elks specialises in, risk, resilience, ESG and climate, and governance - helping businesses to create sustainable solutions, add value and make a difference in complex regulatory environments.

His step up to partnership comes at a time of significant growth and opportunity for Crowe’s award-winning Risk Consulting practice. Justin’s promotion will see him play an increasing leadership role in the practice, while continuing to work with clients; helping them to build purpose-led, long-term sustainable businesses that are able to achieve their objectives in our current complex, ambiguous and uncertain business environment.

CIR business continuity awards 2020

Justin’s expertise has been recognised by InsuranceERM magazine where he was named one of the most influential people in enterprise risk management in insurance across Europe. He was also awarded Advisor of the Year by the CIR Business Continuity Awards 2020 for his pioneering work on operational resilience.

Crowe received the InsuranceERM Risk Consultancy of the Year award for the second consecutive year in 2021 as a result of its work on operational resilience, ESG and sustainability, and climate change risks and opportunities.

Justin first joined Crowe after a career in industry, most recently spent as a Risk Director and Chief Risk Officer within the insurance sector. He is based at Crowe’s London office at 55 Ludgate Hill.
