Crowe Global Announces Board Members

Crowe Global (Crowe), one of the largest accounting networks in the world, has confirmed three new appointments to its board of directors. Jean-Charles Francois (France), HJ Hwang (South Korea) and Lars Ludemann (Germany) take their positions as of January 1, 2023.

The network under the leadership of CEO, David Mellor, has seen growing revenues and an increasing geographical reach. In 2021, Crowe confirmed network growth of 9% with total global revenues of US$4.6 billion. The network also continued to grow its coverage of Africa with new firms in Botswana, South Sudan and Ethiopia.

Commenting on the board of director changes, David Mellor, Chief Executive Officer, says:

“I congratulate each of the new board members and thank them for their willingness to serve. At this time of unprecedented change, the role of the Crowe Global board of directors has heightened relevance. Our serving members provide invaluable guidance to help steer our network towards its strategic objectives.
Diversity of thought and experience is essential on this journey. Our Board members – from all three regions: EMEA, Asia Pacific, and The Americas - bring a variety of perspectives and expertise to help us make smarter decisions.

I believe collaboration is paramount to driving success at Crowe. The board of directors, our committees and our member firms all play an integral part in this. All embrace their roles in the development of the network and commit to working together to create lasting value to clients, talent, and the communities where we live and work.”

The new members will serve a two-year term.
