Crowe Cares Day 2026 - Impact Report

Crowe Portugal took part in Crowe Cares Day, an initiative integrated into Crowe Global’s Crowe Cares programme. In Portugal, the initiative was carried out in partnership with the Porto Food Bank Against Hunger on 27 July 2026.

A total of 40 employees participated in a corporate volunteering activity dedicated to supporting the Porto Food Bank’s logistics operations. The team learned about the organisation’s work, took part in food packing and distribution activities, and attended a session on the social impact of volunteering.

Over approximately four hours, volunteers helped pack food products destined for institutions supported by the Porto Food Bank. The initiative enabled the preparation of 12,000 kg of food for distribution. This achievement was made possible through the commitment of Crowe Portugal employees and the joint effort with the Porto Food Bank team.

Feedback collected at the end of the initiative highlighted three main outcomes: a greater understanding of the social realities supported by the Food Bank, a strong team spirit, and increased awareness of the importance of volunteering. The experience was also highly recommended by participants.
