FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Q: What mobile devices do you support?
A: iPhone, and iPads.
Q: I have specific food needs, how should I communicate those needs?
A: In the participant profile, there is a question asking about food restrictions/needs. Fill out this section and we will have that noted. If you need to speak with someone, please feel free to call the program coordinator listed on the Contacts page.
Q: I prefer to use a different name than my legal name. Can I request to have it changed in the system?
A: Yes. In the participant profile, enter your name preference in the preferred name box. This will be used for your office name plate and email address. However, you must enter your full legal name for travel purposes.
Q: What identification do I need for the Form I-9 compliance?
A: Please look at the Acceptable Identification Document attached to the form or the Form I-9 link for detailed information. Only original documents will be accepted. You will need One Document from List A OR one document from BOTH List B and List C.
Q: I did not see any benefit, tax withholding, or direct deposit forms.
A: You will record your benefit elections, federal, state, and/or county withholding, and direct deposit information via our Employee Self Service site. This will be available to you on your first date of employment.
Q: When am I paid?
A: The 10th and 25th of the month. See the Getting paid page for more information.
Q: I have a vacation planned later this year. With whom should I discuss this?
A: Please talk to your career coach within your first week to discuss your time away.
Q: How soon should I plan my vacation time?
A: Advance planning is always preferred. Please discuss with your career coach.
Q: If I have a conflict in the middle of the onboarding program, what should I do?
A: Contact your recruiter.
Q: I have personal appointment in the evening. Can you confirm what time we will end for the day?
A: Training typically ends no later than 5 p.m.
Q: May I check my personal email or IM on my Crowe laptop?
A: Crowe does not allow access to personal web based email or IM (e.g. gmail) from a firm laptop. This access restriction is considered to be a key element of “Security Best Practices” and is a requirement of our Financial Services and up-market clients holding their data. Access to these personal email and IM tools should be done via your personal smartphone or tablet devices.
