What does Crowe Soberman's training program look like?
First class professional development is a key priority for our firm. It begins with a two-week dynamic orientation program that develops your technical and soft skills through the use of case studies. You will also have the opportunity to shadow a more experienced staff member, which will help you connect your classroom learning to the real life experience of an accounting firm. Learning never stops here, and core training sessions that focus on technical and personal development will be offered to you at all stages in your career.
Does Crowe Soberman have international connections?
Crowe Soberman is a member of Crowe Global, a worldwide network of independent accounting firms. The strong relationships we have with many of the other member firms facilitate cross referrals and knowledge sharing we can use to the benefit of our clients. We also offer the opportunity for secondment to other Crowe firms.
How will my work be evaluated? How will I know how I’m doing?
After each engagement you will receive feedback from the manager on the file, so you will learn quickly and apply your new knowledge to the next file. You will be assigned a performance manager, who is responsible for ensuring you receive timely feedback and delivering your formal performance evaluation on your career progression.
How will my career progress?
The personal and professional growth of our people is very much part of our culture, and our size and structure provide opportunities for them to be professionally stretched and challenged. We have career competency matrices for each role in every department, so you can clearly see what is required to get to the next level and build your skills accordingly.
Do I choose an industry specialization right away?
We want you to become a well-rounded business advisor who is equipped to service our diverse range of clients. So you will begin in Audit & Advisory, where you will be exposed to the widest variety of client industries. As you progress in your career, you may begin to develop a particular niche while still catering to clients across various industries.
What department will I be based in?
Interns, co-ops and new grads will be hired directly into Audit and Advisory (A&A) or Tax. These departments provide the best knowledge to pass your exams, build practical experience and develop your professional skills. While based in A&A, all associates gain both audit and tax experience.
I don’t see my school listed under the recruitment events section. Can I still apply?

We do review all applications, but will contact you only if you are selected for an interview.
