Trust Structure & Management
What is a Trust and how does it work? Many communities utilize Trust law in their province to create a Trust so that today’s wealth can be leveraged for annual income generation to fund programs and to set aside funds for future generations. We have assisted many indigenous communities to co-create a Trust that meets their needs for their specific sovereignty goals. Our Trust structuring process can begin with a Trust workshop for community leaders, co-development of communication materials, community engagement tools, and then co-drafting of a Trust foundation document that can then form the basis of your legal document. By combining our expertise and your community goals, together we can create a unique, culturally appropriate, and tax compliant Trust Agreement that will stand the test of time.
