Danielle Ouellette brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to her role, with a passion for both the arts and accounting. She began her academic journey in the Fine Arts program at the University of Ottawa, where she nurtured her love for painting and drawing. After a period in the workforce, Danielle pivoted her career aspirations and pursued a diploma in Business Administration – Accounting at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall. Her dedication to academic excellence earned her a place on the Dean’s List throughout her studies.
Building on her college success, Danielle enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Commerce program at Athabasca University, advancing her accounting knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in the field. Her professional career began in the accounting department of a large bread manufacturing company, followed by roles at Welch LLP and BDO.
Danielle spent seven years at BDO, where she honed her skills across a wide range of accounting and tax services, including audit, review, compilation, bookkeeping, and preparation of T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5 returns. Her comprehensive experience extends to working with holding companies and estates, showcasing her ability to handle complex mandates with precision and care.
Known for her dedication to continuous learning, Danielle thrives on tackling new challenges and expanding her expertise. Her practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving has made her a versatile and invaluable asset to her clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys channeling her creative energy into painting and drawing, reflecting her lifelong love for the arts.
