Our expectations for the candidate's experience are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance
• English - Intermediate level (preferably)
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and local taxes
• Working knowledge of commercial chart of accounts
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
• At least 1 year of work experience in finance or accounting

Responsibilities:

• As part of a team, assisting in audits and related to audit services
• Gathering, analyzing, systematizing, and maintaining primary documentation
• Assisting auditors in preparation of various presentations and analytical reports
• Analyzing and applying in practice the regulations in the relevant fields of activity
• Performing certain assignments related to audit and non-audit activities
• Business trips up to 30% of working hours

Major responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping activities of the stores;
• Responsible of accounts payable process (cash & bank, supplier, contractor and customer account recording and collection/payment cycles);
• Re-consolidation of GL accounts and monthly closing process;
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, etc.) and submit periodical management reports to the Group Finance function;
• Prepare and submit official declarations (to tax authority, social security institution etc.) in a timely manner;
• Periodical bank, customer and supplier account reconciliations;
• Payroll preparation, fixed asset register bookings;
• Preparing all the periodical financial reports in local GAP and IFRS;
• Support Exportation & Importation process;
• Participate in budgeting and future projections.
  

Qualification required:

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Economy;
• Knowledge of languages: Fluent English (written & verbal), Tajik is an asset;
• More than 5 years chief accountant experience;
• Sound knowledge in local Tax laws and regulations;
• Strong accounting background with accrual accounting mentality;
• Experience in local bookkeeping;
• Sounds IFRS financial reporting knowledge;
• Business start-up experience is an asset;
• Having an ACCA certificate is an asset;
• Retail experience is an asset;
• Result oriented and have a positive attitude;
• Excellent communication skills;
• High sense of responsibility;
• Ability to work in a multinational/multicultural environment.
