Postponement of CIT-8 for all taxpayers
The Ministry of Finance informed about the postponement of the deadline
for CIT settlement for 2019 for all taxpayers. The new deadline for companies
to file the annual tax return shall be 31 May 2020.
Consequently, the deadline for payment of income tax for 2019 shall be extended till 31 May 2020. Hospitals and public benefit organizations will have time to submit CIT-8 return until July 31, 2020.
The extension of the deadline for filing the annual tax return is an element of the aid package, the so-called anti-crisis shield. Currently, the act is waiting to be passed by the Sejm.
