The event will take place online on 18 September 2026, and participation is free of charge. The conference will be conducted entirely in English.
Over the years, the conference has brought together tax experts, practitioners, and representatives of academic institutions from across Europe, creating a forum for discussion on the most significant trends shaping the future of tax law. This year’s agenda covers topics such as artificial intelligence in tax administration, the taxation of new technologies, climate transition and carbon pricing mechanisms, the global minimum tax under Pillar Two, and the digitalization of tax law.
We are particularly pleased to highlight the participation of Szymon Lipiński, Senior Tax Consultant at Crowe Poland, who will deliver a presentation entitled:
“Proposal for a Multilateral Tax Instrument to Combat Climate Change (Climate MLI)”
Presentation time: 18 September 2026 | 11:40 AM - 12:00 PM
Szymon Lipiński is an experienced tax advisor specializing in environmental taxation and compliance related to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). He has extensive experience supporting businesses in preparing CBAM reports, calculating certificate obligations, and implementing processes aligned with European Union requirements. He also advises clients on KOBiZE reporting and broader environmental tax matters, commonly referred to as green taxes.
Through his hands-on experience gained during the CBAM transitional period, Szymon helps organizations identify risks, optimize costs associated with new climate-related obligations, and effectively prepare for upcoming regulatory changes. His presentation will provide valuable practical insights into the evolving landscape of climate taxation and international tax policy.
We encourage all professionals interested in international tax law, climate transition, and the impact of emerging regulations on business operations to take part in this unique event.
