Sustainable business practices based on lasting values

For over 80 years, Crowe Ireland has built a lasting tradition of assisting our clients with their audit, tax, advisory, and consulting needs they might have. Having started as a small firm in Dublin working mainly with the meat and metal industries, from the mid-2000s Crowe has grown to focus on a variety of sectors, and as a member of the Crowe Global Network can harness an international network of leading professionals across professional services.

Our values are the pillars on which we have been able to build a successful firm, and we are now using these to hold ourselves accountable towards our ESG goals.

The values which guide Crowe are our most valuable assets, and they are what has helped us create a dynamic and lasting work culture.

Environmental objectives

The environmental objectives of Crowe focuses on both the clients we work with and our own internal practices, and we are conscious of the importance of being proactive and responsive to changing technological and social innovations in the field. We are actively working on reducing our emissions, such as the purchase of environmentally friendly office equipment and cleaning supplies, and to continuously improve our technology, programmes, and virtual collaboration tools to reduce travel and our overall carbon footprint.

Furthermore, we work to enhance our environmental accountability by assessing supply chain practices, property owners, leasing arrangements and materials used, and Crowe prefers to work with those who adopt social and environmental practices aligning with those of the firm.

Social objectives

Our corporate social practices are carefully thought through and designed with the intention to give back to the community we live and work in. Throughout the year, Crowe works actively to support local charities and provide staff with the ability to fundraise, volunteer and provide needed resources to help foster change. Governance objectives

Crowe has committed to establishing sustainable practices and decision‑making processes which have been implemented through policies, procedures and our actions.

These include initiatives such as supporting equal opportunity in employment and opposing all forms of discrimination, our offices are universally accessible to all staff and clients. Furthermore, we provide staff with the sector‑leading hybrid and flexible working arrangements, using technology to give staff the opportunity to reduce both their carbon footprint and engage in practices which create both a better work life balance and increases productivity.

Our ESG Centre of Excellence

The Centre of Excellence has been established by Crowe with the purpose of being a leading firm in ESG services, providing comprehensive assistance to our clients. This senior interdepartmental and cross-practice group is responsible for ensuring consistency, exceptionally high quality and coherence of approach to all ESG assignments we take on.
