William Truong

William Truong is a manager in Crowe Soberman’s Audit & Advisory group. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, he worked for a boutique public accounting firm, primarily providing accounting services to and advising owner-managed businesses and high-net worth individuals.

William has over four years of public accounting experience, and his strong technical understanding of financial reporting, assurance and internal controls specific to his clients’ operations have allowed him to help them achieve their goals.

He has gained extensive experience in a multitude of industries, ranging from charitable organizations and real estate to construction. William’s experience includes financial statements issued under Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profit (ASNPO) and accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE).

In his current role, William oversees audit, review and compilation engagements. In addition, he provides corporate and personal tax planning services.

William places a focus on building and maintaining a positive relationship with his team and clients to ensure objectives and needs are met. He has a collaborative approach to finding opportunities during engagements that add value and allow completion in an efficient manner.
