Nyla Roopnarinesingh is a Senior Manager in the Valuations | Forensics | Litigation team (VFL). Prior to joining our firm, she was a co-op student at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Nyla has a unique but diverse background, and is experienced in fraud investigations, matrimonial matters, business valuations, shareholder disputes and litigation support matters.

In her current role, Nyla advises a diverse base of clients ranging from spouses, business owners, commercial plaintiffs, defendants to shareholders and companies. She is a primary point of contact for clients and counsel, providing insight and identifying areas of opportunity, or need. Nyla is also trained in Collaborative Practice, where she works to resolve family differences through discussion and agreement rather than using the court process.

Nyla conducts industry related research, reviews legal documents and prepares comprehensive analytical Expert Reports for the purposes of mediation, arbitration and/or litigation.

Nyla has been recognized for being a Pillar of Accountability at Crowe Soberman. She is very involved in her community and spends time volunteering for the CPA Canada Tax clinic. Nyla is also a fundraiser and donor for the Canadian Cancer Society.
