Mahir Bharucha

Mahir Bharucha is a Manager in the Audit & Advisory group at Crowe Soberman. He joined the firm in the winter of 2016 as an Audit Assistant and became a junior accountant in the beginning of fall 2018. Mahir has led many audit and review engagements and has mentored team members along the way.

Mahir is known to be a reliable and calm individual, focused on providing top-level services that best meets clients’ objectives.

Mahir has performed audits and review engagement for private and public companies in the following industries: real estate, professional services, manufacturing, private career college, charitable organizations, pensions, and not-for-profit. He has also performed corporate tax planning for corporate groups.

Having worked with various public companies, Mahir developed extensive experience with IFRS, including special reporting engagements.

Mahir excels in a collaborative work environment and enjoys guiding his younger colleagues in their work. He enjoys speaking to high school and university students about the CPA process, answering questions and sharing experiences. Mahir currently volunteers at various tax clinics for low-income families. He also helps manage a ball hockey league in his spare time.
