On November 18, 2025, Crowe MacKay & Company Ltd. was appointed as Receiver and Manager (the "Receiver") without security, of all the assets, undertakings, and property of Columbia St. Liquor Store Inc., 0765399 B.C. Ltd. and 1233538 B.C. Ltd. (collectively, the “Companies”). The Companies operated liquor stores out of New Westminster and Vancouver, as well as a gas station in Delta, British Columbia.

On December 12, 2025, Baljeet Kaur Bains, Sukhvinder Singh Bains and Dilpreet Singh Bains (the "Applicants") made an application to the Court to approve, among other things:
The hearing took place at 9:45am in Vancouver, on December 18, 2025, and the Court granted the discharge of the Receiver over the assets and undertakings of Columbia St. Liquor Store Inc. and 1233538 B.C. Ltd. The Receiver will remain as the Receiver of all of the assets, undertakings and property of 0765399 B.C. Ltd. Copies of the relevant pleadings can be found below.\
On January 19, 2026, the Applicants made an application to the Court to approve the discharge of Crowe MacKay & Company Ltd. as the Receiver and Manager, over all of the undertakings, property and assets of 0765399 B.C. Ltd. The hearing was scheduled to take place on January 21, 2026, but was adjourned to January 27, 2026. The Court granted the discharge of the Receiver over all of the undertakings, property and assets of 0765399 B.C. Ltd. Copies of the relevant pleadings can be found below.
