Over the past 20 years, Jennifer has gained a broad range of work experience including: operation management, human resources, health and safety, and administration. Jennifer has been a resident of the North since 1984 and brings extensive knowledge and energy to effectively manage the unique challenges faced by businesses operating in the North. Jennifer excels in operational management largely due to her personal integrity, self-accountability, organizational skills, productivity, and ability to balance the needs of staff and management. She genuinely enjoys working with management and staff to guide long-term strategic planning, change management, and to realize operational goals and objectives. Having travelled to several communities across the North, Jennifer has worked with numerous to audit Health, Safety and Environment programs and systems for compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. She provides recommendations to organizations on how to ensure compliance with legislation and the overall integrity of their safety programs and initiatives.
Prior to joining Crowe MacKay LLP in 2016, Jennifer was a full-time entrepreneur from 2013 to 2016. As the Owner/Operator of SHORE Consulting, Jennifer worked with several organizations to meet their operational needs including: human resources/health and safety planning and development; proposal development; recruiting and selection; executing compensation reviews and analysis; coordinating employee engagement surveys and initiatives; and organizing exploration camps and safe work plans. Prior to 2013, Jennifer worked in Human Resources for various companies supporting the mining industry in the North.
