HR Compliance Services

Are you up-to-date and compliant when it comes to your HR department? Do you have all the proper workplace policies in place? Are you following best practice when it comes to your provincial employment laws? With HR Vibe you can feel confident in your HR risk management, knowing that we can support you for all labour law compliance

Quebec Pay Equity Law

Pay equity is an individual's right to receive compensation on par with someone in a position of comparable value within the same organization. The intention of pay equity is to ensure individuals are compensated fairly and equally for their work, regardless of gender, race, or other discriminatory factors, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

The pay equity process in Quebec is governed by a provincial assessment. The Quebec pay equity assessment is a legal requirement for all employers with 10 or more employees.  It is your responsibility as an employer to complete a Quebec pay equity assessment as a maintenance exercise every five years.

Our team of HR consultants specialize in pay equity legal compliance. We can guide you in completing the Quebec pay equity assessment, conduct pay equity audits,  and identify equity gaps, ensuring you understand your pay equity obligations and have strategies in place to make adjustments.

Quebec 1% Training Law

In Quebec, La Loi sur les compétences (Bill 90 - also known as The 1% Law), mandates that any employer with a total payroll that exceeds $2 million dollars, invest at least 1% of its payroll towards training activities focused on developing its employees' skills.

Are your training expenses eligible? Are they properly documented? Our HR Vibe consultants understand the 1% Training obligations and can customize training investment strategies for your organization.

Francization

Language holds a special place in the rich history of Quebec's culture. The essence of Quebecois identity is deeply intertwined with the French language. Francization is how the province continues to promote and preserve the use of the French language, fostering social bonds amongst its people.

Our HR consultants can successfully guide your businesses through the Francization process.

Understand Quebec’s Language Laws

Our experts know how to navigate Quebec’s language laws, including Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) and Bill 96, the recent reform to Bill 101. Ensuring your company complies with the province’s language laws is essential, and we work with you to develop strategies that continue to integrate the French language into your company’s operations.

Navigate Francization Assessments

Francization assessments evaluate your business’s language proficiency, identifying areas for improvement and creating tailored language development plans. Our HR consultants work with you to create a custom roadmap for your business to meet provincial requirements.
