I started as a co-op at Crowe BGK in 2020 and have been with them ever since. I appreciated that, as a midsize firm, Crowe could offer me a variety of opportunities to learn and develop as a professional. I started on t-slip preparation, moved into personal taxes, then trusts, then corporate tax and audits. I have also been able to contribute with partners to plan for various accounting needs of clients. I really appreciate that Crowe allows us to work from home when we want (once we are more established in the firm) which makes work-life balance a lot more manageable, especially during busy season.

Crowe offers the opportunity to work on all kinds of engagements, such as compilations, reviews and audits. You get to do entire files yourself, which helps you grasp the big picture of everything there is to be done in an engagement. You also get to work on corporate tax, trusts, etc. Working at Crowe really lets you try a bit of everything, and get experience in various types of work. The dynamic at the office is great, everybody is happy to help when you're in a bind, people are friendly, managers and partners take the time to go over the file with you and look at how you can improve for next time.
The firm also organizes nice activities from time to time to get to know your collegues a little better, and in a different context than just work.
