We are looking for a qualified Administrative Assistant to join our Tax Group who is willing to learn and progress in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will facilitate communication between managers and partners while fulfilling their administrative mandates.

Position Profile
  • Prepare tax memos, including formatting, updating, adding, processing, tracking, etc.
  • General correspondence, typing correspondence
  • Finalizing corporate tax and trust returns
  • General administrative support
  • Invoicing and collecting
  • Ensure proactive and efficient communication with partners and managers
  • Miscellaneous projects
  • Other related duties as required

REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Administrative Assistant
  • Experience at an accounting, professional services firm (an asset)
  • Fluently bilingual in English & French (oral and written)
  • Post-secondary education in administration or accounting or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as the desire and the ability to learn new software
  • Knowledge of Tax Prep, Case Ware, Case View (an asset)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • A detail-oriented individual
  • Collaborative and team-focused
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods (February to April)
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately, be discreet and diplomatic
