Richard is a partner with Crowe LLP in the tax services group. He has nearly 10 years of experience providing integrated tax, accounting, and audit services to a variety of clients, including real estate organizations, high net-worth families, leasing companies, arts and entertainment individuals and firms, investment firms, and professional services firms.

Richard has experience in like-kind exchanges, tenancies in common, targeted environmental tax credits, and other special real estate techniques. He also provides services related to taxation of flow-through entities (such as partnerships, LLCs, LLPs and, S corporations) including all aspects of investment partnerships, related hedge funds, hedge fund managers, and execution of complex investment strategies. He has experience with “50-state” withholding tax issues for pass-through entities as well as special issues encountered in connection with ownership of pass-through entities by foreign individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
