Brookton Behm is a principal in the Crowe LLP risk consulting services group. He leads the firm’s national financial crime risk services group and oversees a team of professionals that is focused on providing independent review, audit, advisory, consulting, validation, process improvement, and technology implementation services in the areas of:
Brookton specializes in leading complex regulatory compliance remediation projects for financial institutions. His responsibilities include running some of the firm's largest projects, advising his clients on remediating regulatory enforcement actions, implementing and validating anti-money laundering systems, authoring thought leadership, and developing innovative solutions to assist clients.
Outside of his client work, Brookton is the dean of the College of Governance, Risk, and Compliance within Crowe University, the firm’s structure for its overall learning programs. In addition, he is the treasurer of the Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation, an independent not-for-profit organization that serves as the strategic fundraising partner of the Grand Rapids Public Schools.
Prior to joining Crowe, Brookton managed and implemented process improvement, technology solutions, and organizational change at numerous Fortune 500 companies.
