2018 Tax Returns

The periods of time for filing tax returns has been shortened for natural persons and trusts.

• If the return is submitted manually (not electronically) -
  21 September 2018.
• If the return is submitted electronically - 31 October 2018.
• If the return is submitted electronically and you are a provisional taxpayer - 31 January 2019.

Tax returns filed after these dates are likely to result in penalties. In respect of companies (including close corporations), the final date is 12 months after the financial year end.
